When the seeds of our firms were planted in 1963, our mission was to provide sorely needed services for dentists and physicians: high-quality consulting for clients’ life-cycles, from practice start-up, through seasoned years of growth and onward into transition strategies for retirement. It is with much pride that we have maintained this constant mission as the bedrock for our firms’ growth ever since.

The name of our accounting and practice consulting firm has evolved over the years to its current Thomas, Wirig, Doll and Company, CPAs. In 1999, we added our Registered Investment Advisor firm, Capital Performance Advisors. Prior to its founding, we were disappointed at how often we would develop an appropriate plan for addressing clients’ financial goals, only to see these plans go awry during implementation. In 2004, we added Pension One Advisors, to further improve our ability to provide full-circle care to the dental and medical communities.

Early principals in our firm include Brent Thomas, Sherman Doll, Jay Wirig and Steve Leininger. As our client base expanded, we likewise responded to the growth by adding new layers of expertise with principals Joe Kalinowski, Barry Oliver and Haden Werhan. For our latest growth, now and in the future, we have recruited three very talented people, J.P. Wirig, Jared Nelson and Dave Harlow.

Enthusiastic collaboration and mentorship across our team positions us well for continued growth and ongoing stability. Each of our 10 firm leaders is a principal at all three of our firm entities, and each is both a CPA and a Registered Investment Advisor firm representative, to enable seamless and comprehensive service.
